Thursday, February 2 - Helderview Garden Club. (518-765-5632). Albany, New York. Topic: "Winter Sowing 101" (lecture and demonstration).
Saturday, March 10 - Spring Garden Day, Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County. (518) 272-4210. This wildly popular, all-day event in Troy, NY, offers a variety of horticultural classes, including the one I'm teaching: "The Easy Kitchen Garden." Call for information and tickets.
Saturday, April 14 - Garden Day, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County. (845) 340-3990. The theme of this event is "Flower Power." I'll be talking about the most beloved flower in the world - - The Rose. And specifically, how to design a low-maintenance rose garden, and how to make its occupants thrive. Call for information and tickets.
Wednesday, June 6 - Private Tour, Lake George Garden Club 10:30 AM - 12:30 pm
Sunday, June 10 - Open Days, The Garden Conservancy. My garden will be open from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Come see the Rose Garden, the Herb Garden, the Serpentine Garden, the Pool Garden, the Kitchen Garden, and the Woodland Garden. At this time in the season, almost everything will be in bloom. Saturday, June 16 - Garden Tour/Plant-Propagation Workshop. 10:00AM - 12:00PM. $35.00 covers workshop plus yummy refreshments. Workshop is limited to 25 people. Contact me to register and receive directions. NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. I'll reschedule for some time in the future.
